The one thing that most digital gardens that I’ve visited seem to have, is an explanation of what a digital garden is. To my mind it’s an opportunity to explore in ones own patch of land on the internet and anything you want it to be!

The intro taken from the above link - A digital garden is an online space at the intersection of a notebook and a blog, where digital gardeners share seeds of thoughts to be cultivated in public. Contrary to a blog, where articles and essays have a publication date and start decaying as soon as they are published, a digital garden is evergreen: digital gardeners keep on editing and refining their notes.

The phrase “digital garden” is a metaphor for thinking about writing and creating that focuses less on the resulting “showpiece” and more on the process, care, and craft it takes to get there.
